Update

I have finished week 1 of the Lori Holt Sew Along. I think she starts week 5 tomorrow. 

I am getting more comfortable with her applique method. It's the reason I wanted to try it. However, the little pieces are hard and opted for Heat and Bond for these two tiny circles.

Slowly, very slowly, it is coming together. 

I also made this into a pillow. 

And my son said he would take it. 

Last project....I tried my idea of basting it in the carport. I measured my longest boards but forgot to add the extra inches that are added to the backing. It didn't fit. I'm going to try to do it on the floor with a combination of spray basting and pinning it. 

Life is better with needle and thread.....

Fall is a change of color every day.....
