Bag It

When I was visiting my mom, she pulled out some fabric and asked me to make her some bags.
I had made her one a few years ago.
I spent some time remembering what bag I had given her.

She likes it because it folds up flat.
I am sorry to say that I am having trouble seeing out of my new glasses when I am sewing.
However, she Macular degeneration, and will never know.
I have just one question.
Is it wrong to take her fabric, make a couple of bags, and send them to her for Mother's Day?
If it is wrong, I don't want to be right.

After sewing tulips for months, and months,
mine are up and making me happy.

Desert Sage Quilt Show

When we moved here,
I was sad to find out that they only had a quilt show every other year.
But they always do an amazing job.

Love this scrappy 30's reproductions.

I think this would be fun to do.

Love these colors.

There were yo-yo's everywhere.

Cute tie quilt.

Watched the trunk show.
This 80 year old women was amazing
and funny.  I so enjoyed listening to her.

These frogs were my favorite part of this quilt.

Do you remember this one?

And this was a group quilt done by my quilt group.

Thanks to all the people who work so hard to show us beautiful quilts.

Good to be Home

I finished this cross stitch.  I'm looking forward to visiting the Redwoods this Summer with my kids.  I was home this weeke...
