Graduation Gifts

Between my husband teaching High School and having 38 nieces and nephews,
I have a stack of graduation announcements.
So I tried to think of something cheap I mean useful.

I saw these cute little sewing kits on,
you guessed it,
.

Then I went to the Dollar Store
and picked up some sewing kits
to go inside them.
I got some glue and put them together.

I do not do well with glue,
but I like them.

Happy Graduation Season!

Verna's Tulips

It has almost been a year since I started this.
I'm happy that it is done.

Everyone says how they love tulips, but wish they would stay longer.
Well, these will stay for many years.

I love this time of year.
School is almost out and I find myself contemplating projects for the summer.
I can't wait to get started.

Happy Mother's Day

I made another Sashey Scarf for my niece's little fashionista.

And on this mothers day, I finished quilting Verna's Tulips.
It seemed like the thing to do.
Verna was my mother's aunt and took my mother under her watchful eye,
when my grandmother passed away.

Moving On

Now that the tulips are outside,

I am moving on.
I have an idea and can't wait until I can get to it.

Didn't make It

My grand daughter asked for a quilt for her American girl doll. I just didn't get it done in time to mail, but she will be happy with it...
