Story of my Life

I was finally able to put this quilt together.
There is one block that needs to be rotated
and I will get to that soon enough.

While working on it,
I put the needle through my finger.
I have two friends that have had the same experience recently,
so I felt like I joined their club.
I'm 55 and have been sewing for 45 of those years.
And it has never happened to me.
I always imagined it happened when you were sewing
something difficult,
not at the end of a long row of quilt blocks.

Crazy things happen to me
when I think I'm home free.
It's the story of my life.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been fixing machines like crazy.
And, we are grateful for the opportunity to help people
get sewing again.

I have spent the last few weeks studying for a test
that I am taking tomorrow.

I would never have slept if not for this little project.
I don't know about you,
but I need some needle time every day.

This is the last square on this quilt
and then it is finished.

I am hoping to get at least one quilt sandwiched this
Spring Break.

Have a good One!
Stay Warm!

Little People Hands

I decided what to do with the hands.
I have them on a bulletin board.

It's cute.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to take it down and give the hands to their owners.
They will like them, and truth be known,
I don't have time to do much else with them.

I can't lie,
I hate it when my sewing machine and I don't make time for each other.
But that is where I'm at right now.
I have a test to take in a couple of weeks,
and I've been spending all of my time getting ready for it.

Good to be Home

I finished this cross stitch.  I'm looking forward to visiting the Redwoods this Summer with my kids.  I was home this weeke...
