Cross Stitch

Have I ever mentioned that I love cross stitch?

It can be so addicting.

I found this cross stitch in some things my mother gave me.

I have been working on it when I haven't been hand quilting.

Boy, was I happy to see it this week.

However,

I do feel like I need to work on this quilt.

So I made a deal with myself.

First work on this quilt..for a half hour,

Then I can cross.

Happy, Happy, Happy

Yellow Bird Quilt

I have been working on this for most of the summer.

I sat down last Tuesday and finished the quilting on it.

We took it to Canada and delivered it to my newest grand daughter.

We drove home on Monday and I was up and at work on Tuesday.

It has been a crazy week there.

I am hoping for some sewing time soon.

Sewing time makes my day.

Happy Solar Eclipse!

We are 97%  here.

Should be a treat.

Saturday Quilting

 I had some mighty big quilting plans for my Saturday.

But the first thing I did was cut my finger.

I had a hard time getting it to stop bleeding.

But I wrapped  it up

and went to work.

I made this quilt for my daughter.

I love this quilt, but it was falling apart.

As I was mending it, I realized that it needed more quilting.

So I added more quilting lines.

I have to say, that machine quilting is hard on my body, 

but I feel better today.

I dropped by the Farmers Market yesterday.

Sunflowers make me happy.
