Mix and Match

I love this little pillow I made from a Primrose Cottage pattern. I thought I would try to make one for my lunch buddies group since we missed Christmas.

This is from Fat Quarter Quilts.  I made it as a rug mug, but their free block program is really cute.

Then I started with the pillows. For whatever reason I thought they would be tricky, but they are easy.

And I need another but of infusible fleece for the last one.

And I finished my first Christmas gift for next year. This should have been easy, but the Minky on the back came off while I was quilting it. I have never had that happen before. I had to take out the quilting and baste the back to the batting.

Then it was a breeze to quilt and bind.

After working on 1400 hexagons, I am finally beginning to put them together.

So far,  it takes about  30 minutes to do one. I do 3 a day.

The next quilts will be scrappy. I've picked out fabric for the next Christmas present.
