Daisy

I am working on making a quilt for a friend of mine. She made these quiltblocks while in high school and she wants a quilt for her granddaughter's graduation

They are super cute little daisies. I decided to pair it with a daisy square.

This is fabric we purchased it. I had it previewed  by a young girl. She said the pattern worked but the fabric was old.

This was my next try. I didn't even sew it. Right color- Wrong size dot.

I went back to the store and asked a perfect stranger what she thought. She picked this out. It's right and I have made a few.

I helped her pick out her border. Quilters need fresh eyes sometimes.

I also took a day to sandwich. It's different doing it on the Fall.

• You have to start later in the day because it's cold in the morning.

• beThe sun is in a completely different place all day long.

My cat was completely ready for this to be over.

It worked out but it was a long process and l was soar at the end.

And lastly, I made this little dress.

I used this pattern that I purchased and used when her mom was a baby.

It's always fun to construct a garment every now and then.

Some how this blog makes it look like I was really busy this week. I didn't feel like it.

Sew happy days...
Happy Fall y'all...
