Walk Down Memory Lane

I finished this project.  

This was a long process.

But well worth it. 

Lots of time...

And very fun. I love all things gingerbread. 

While cleaning out a hope chest I found some interesting things.  Including this picture of a quilt that I made in high school and gave to a friend. 

I probably did this in the late 60's when I was 10.

And this one was done in the 70's when I was in my teens. 

And this in the 80's when I was in my 20's.  

I made a few of these shirts in the late 70's. They were very pretty. 

They call embroidery a Grandma Hobby but I've been doing it forever. I'm glad I didn't give up and that it is part of my life still.
