Experimenting

I'm making this flower quilt and enjoying it very much. 

The problem was the stems on the flower. 

When I followed the he directions, the block was 1/2 inch short on one side.

I changed the demonsions and I got the right size, but the stem is not in the right place. 

Wes told me to try different demonsions and the stem is in the right place I just have to trim a 1/2 inch off one edge. 

I'll take it. I'm back to piecing and happy with it. 

And I finished this little blanket. 

I'm feeling more like myself in my sewing room. 

I started making a charity quilt this week too. 

Summer projects bring me joy .....
