Basting and Quilting

I like this quilt more and more. Every time I sit on the deck and use basting spray I can't help but wonder how much longer I can get away with it. 

Remember that I wanted to put this orange piece in and Callie said no?  Well I love it. 

I see it adding richness to the already deep sense of color. 

The minky is perfect. You know, I had a conversation at the Hobby Lobby with a woman who thought I should get the lighter gray. I mean, we were strangers, and she had never seen the quilt, so I went with my first impression.
