Pillowcases


The grands came from Canada for Spring Break. They wanted to shop, sew and swim. We decided to make pillowcases. 


They did great.

 Lucy has used the sewing machine before. Besides being left handed, she did awesome. 

Annie struggled with hye machine. I found myself making rules to help her sew a straight line. She needed practice so she made Heidi's also.  Heidi is 5 and had no desire to sew. Worked out great. 

Norah, who is 7, wanted to try. She sat down, put her hands in the righ place and went straight down the side of the pillowcases. I told her she was a natural.  

Me: You have a gift
N: I have several but I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. 



I always hope th as t I will quilt with t T e grands when they grow up. It could happen.
