Winter

I've had a couple of projects that I've been trying to finish and one I'm trying to start.

I have struggled with this. I can't read this pattern. I tried these glasses.

Still couldn't get it started. 
One night I decided that I was going to figure out something.
 I started in the corner. 
I thought it would be easy, but I couldn't figure out what the symbol was.
