Christmas Pillows

When we cleaned out my mons house I found six, 4 inch quilt squares.  I've had them on my desk since March. I was thinking I would do a pillow.

Callie sent me some fabric to make her dogs scarves, and I had vision. I ended up making two pillows. I found the cutest Santa fabric at Sallie's and they came together quickly.

My friend has a niece who was diagnosed with cancer while she was pregnant.  She wanted to buy a quilt for the baby and the mom. I don't make baby quilts, but she did buy a receiving blanket. She decided against the other quilt because the cancer has evolved and it doesn't look like she will recover.  I was like, let's do something simple and get some Minky for the back.

Her one request was that it had her name on it. I dug through my stash. I had enough of these and it turned out pretty sweet. I'll make a Hobby Lobby run tomorrow and hopefully finish by Wednesday.

Merry Stitching to All.
