Basting Spray
I was wallowing on thoughts of how to frame this.
Do I pay to have a mat cut?
Where do I find a bigger piece of sticky board for the back?
Where am I going to put it?
Well my first answer was to forget the mat and enlarge it like a quilt square. Just add some borders to it. I went bold colors. Probably because of all the snow and lack of sunshine.
Sticky board is not available at any local retailers. I buy it from Amazon and the size I usually buy was not big enough. Then the thought of using basting spray and it worked out great.
I hung it in my guest bedroom along with the wall quilts.
I put this little quilt together and used the basting spray to put it together. I tape the Minke to the floor and use the basting spray, then I pin. It works great every time.
This quilt is smaller than I wanted. The main reason for that is the fact that I changed the plan after I bought the fabric, but it is finished and snuggly. It should be a good lap quilt for a toddler.
