Adventure Quilt

I cut out this quilt last weekend.  It was a major pain, but I am liking the way it is turning out.  

I saw this pattern in a magazine and remembered I had the moose and deer squares left from another quilt.

I picked up the print at a fabric swap. 

And I used a scrappy background, so here is another quilt without going to the quilt store.

Next week I will work on the boarder.  

Who knows, I may take it with me on my next adventure.

Until then, I am going to visit my granddaughter and her parents.
