So I finished 3 of these. I am having some serious regrets about the green one. I think I will make another one and use yellow instead of the white print.
I love making bags, because they go so fast.
I use fleece or iron-on fleece interfacing.
The handles move right along. Here is a 3" x 18" strip. Press about 1/2 and inch.
Then put on a 1" x 18" piece of fleece.
Just fold over the raw edge and bring the folded edge over it.
Sew right down the middle and then top stitch about 1/4" on both sides.
This only takes a few minutes and it keeps it's shape.
