New Project

I started Lori Holt's Chicken Salad. It was a sew along in 2022. I'm using some of her fabrics and definitely using her color pallet. 

First thing I did was make Hattie backwards. But I let it go. It's my quilt and it is not going to be an exact copy of hers. 

I ended up watching the entire tutorial just to see how the eyes were so perfect. It's the little buttons. I have some, not her brand, but they will work fine. 

I'm still quilting this and this is my last flower block. 

I also picked up my cookbooks. There are 5. The woman at the print shop was very helpful. She laminated the cross stitch for the front cover. 

They perfectly cover the print. It's been fun working with her. It was a year ago that I almost gave up on this project so I'm thankful that I figured out a solution and found a cheerleader. 

Ready for holidaying....
