Too Many Projects
I just felt like I needed to finish a few things.
There were too many projects going.
I did finish this. Wes helped. At one point, I was going to throw it out because he had such a bad vibe, but it's just too cute.
I didn't make a new quilt for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. I did, however, dig this quilt out of a box. I get it, the new fabric colors and patterns, but I like this one.
I had started this quilt and wanted to give it to Callie for her birthday in July. So I sat down and finished up the top.
I haven't appliqued in a while, which I always enjoy. Truth be told, I made this quilt about 13 years ago...? It was a train wreck. The rows were nowhere close to the same size. This time around I trimmed blocks to the correct size. Only one row didn't match. Sew and learn. But here's the thing....if I had never tried and tried again, I never would have improved.
I also had started this on my last trip. I worked on it for a few hours. I'm taking it in my next journey.
I hope that I can focus on the quilts that are going to Todd's household now that I finished up a couple of projects.
Sew until you know....
It just feels good to sew...
