Week 2
I am still Stitching Everyday. It has gone well and I have meet the $250 goal plus another $150.
I went to sell this quilt. I never even remember that I have it. When I looked at the hand quilting, I decided not to sell it. I just thought it was too intimate. The hand quilting, the hand sewn blocks, the many mistakes, it just seemed like I couldn't give it to strangers. I asked if someone in the family wanted it and Courtney scooped it up.
Looking at it helped me decide to hand quilt my Lori Holt quilt.
And her are two quilts that are not personal to me at all.
Although this one is cute, they are both finished and will be donated to a local charity.
I have one more quilt I want to sell for this cause. I'm not sure if it will sell, but I can try. Besides selling a few things and documenting my crazy sewing habits, life is satus quo. I do stitch every day. I find it brings a peace to my soul. It anchors me.
Happy Spring.....
A needle in my fingers makes me happy....
