One More Week

I am pretty sure that I only have one more week until I finish this project. I have no idea what week I'm on, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

I've struggled with how this applique feels. It felt somewhat bulky. When I got the flower squares out to add, they were in need of pressing and trimming. I got out the Best Press and could not believe how much better it looked and felt. When I got them on the quilt I gave the entire project the Best Press experience and it looked and felt so much better. 

I also worked up a give- a - way quilt. I thought that I was finished with this, but decided to make it bigger. 

I purchased 3 yards of Minky for $3 a yard. It has always been my intention to use it on a give -a- way quilt. 

There is a good chance that I will be able to sandwich a couple of quilts outside this week. Fingers crossed. 

Life is better with an iron....
