Finally
After what feels like years, I started putting the pieces of this quilt together. I refer to this boarder as rick rack. It is time consuming-because I have to trim and sometimes resew the flying guess- but it looks great. There are three more of these boarder
This required cutting 2 1/2 inch squares from every fabric. Another timely process. After the cutting, it goes fast. I doubt that I will finish this week.....maybe.
When I ordered thread I thought I would never use it all, but I'm just about finished with this one, all 1422 yards.
I am always looking for an embroidery retail shop. This one popped up on my Facebook this week after booking a trip to Southern Utah. My heart was so incredibly happy when I found it in the neighborhood we were in. It is cute, cute, cute.
If you are ever passing through St. George, do yourself a favor and stop by Primrose Cottage Stitches and enjoy this shop for new ideas, fresh patterns and so many adorable pre-made items. It also had hundreds of colors of embroidery threads and cute fabric to turn turn cross stitch into pillows or quilts.
Progress for the win....
Patience is worth the wait...
Happy Heart day...
