Christmas Sewing

I have spent countless hours makin things.

It took me forever to finish this tablecloth. I remember pushing to finish it as the ink was fading.

I made this tree skirt and one for my mom. I've never been able to find the pattern since.

This quilt is by far the best nap quilt ever. It has a little minky on the front and a flannel back. I keep it out for the winter because it is so cozy.

Made my daughter an apron.

it wasn't hard. I may make more.

I know this  isn't sewing. I learned how to make my mom's cinnamon rolls because we stopped going home for Christmas when it just got to be too much. It was a Christmas tradition I wanted to keep.

And this tablecloth. I made it to start a tradition with my kids. Every birthday it came out on birthdays and we served cake on it. Callie asked for it and Keith later asked for it. I made a new one for Keith. I see it occasionally in a picture.

I'm still making. I'm glad some of it shows up in life from time to time. Traditions keep our hearts soft. They don't have to be things. I'm just glad that things that I have spent time making are still making the rounds.

Merry Christmas....
Peace on Earth, Good will toward men....
