The Struggle is Real

I finished this one. I hated it when I was working on it. I must admit that I didn't do a great job picking colors, because I didn't even think about it. But the finished quilt says 'scrappy'. It almost says ' happy scrappy'. 

Here is another project that I struggled we with. (It's an apron.) The ink on this was the same color as the greens. It was hard to see and it always looked ugly. After I washed it I was stunned by the beauty of this project. 

We had to move all the furniture to the walls and it took an entire can of basting spray, 

But I have this ready to quilt. I'm making progress. 

This is a small sample of threads I own but I'm still buying thread for the Lori Holt quilt. There's a reason I call it a money pit. 

The struggle is real. I feel like I should have more time to quilt but things keep coming up. It still feels good to sit down and have a good sew.
