Just Keep Sewing

I've had this skirt for over 20 years. The elastic just stopped stretching last year. I bought some new elastic and the both of them have been sitting on the corner of my sewing table for a year. I finally took off the old elastic, which helped me understand how to put on the new elastic. Done!  My sewing desk is looking good these days. 

I also got 2 quilts ready to put on the quilt frames for basting. I used my new batting. I couldn't help but wonder if I could still get it for $40. When I checked and found they still have it, I had to buy another. It just felt right. 

Sewing keeps me focused.
