Really Big Quilt Squares

I started a new quilt. This is part of  the first square. It will be a big one. It is a challenge but I like it. 

These are also quilt squares. Bigger than I thought they would be, but I love s Cardinal. Every. Time. I. See. One. Every. Time.

My 8 year old grandson wants this quilt. So I can work on putting it together. 

When it gets too hot outside I go down stairs and sew.
