One thing at a Time

I finished the tree in the truck cross stitch.  At first, I thought I would keep it because it was so much work. But I have decided to give it to a friend. I went to Sallie's Back Porch Fabrics to find some fabrics to make it into a pillow. On the way out, she showed me a Moda catalog with next years Christmas fabrics. Let's just say I'm going to wait.

While I was looking at Sallies, I picked up a couple more pieces for my row quilt.

This is the row that I am working on. 

 

It is a strange little square, with three sizes of pieces in there. Every time I do a block, I wonder how it will ever work itself out.  I have 2 more to go. 

I went for a walk yesterday and found myself thinking of spring. I am looking for a truck full of flowers to cross stitch.  Time to start looking for a new idea that is fresh and bright.
